With Swami's grace, we hope everyone had a wonderful week. A very happy Sri Rama Navami to those of you who celebrated this week!

We will be having our Sri Rama Navami celebrations with bhajans on Saturday April 20th @ Nistala’s Residence (Sai Dham) from 3:45 PM onwards (see below address and tentative agenda in Devotional session) and SSSE classes on Sunday @ Hovatter at 9:30am to 11:30am, No Devotional on Sunday and there are a lot of exciting announcements and updates to be shared. We eagerly look forward to seeing all of you!

1. Sri Rama Navami bhajans at Nistala’s residence(Sai Dham) on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 3:45 pm onwards. (Address above).

   Tentative Agenda: 

   3:45 PM – 4:00 PM: Silent Meditation

   4:00 PM – 4:10 PM: 21Oms, Swami Darshan Video, Hanuman Chalisa, 3 times Sri Rama Rama Rameti.

   4:10 PM – 6:10 PM: Bhajans (SSSE, YA’s and Adults)

   6:10 PM – 6:20 PM: Closing Prayers.

   Note: Dress code for Rama Navami

   Orange or Yellow color sarees for Ladies & salwar kameez for Girls.

   10:15AM – 10:30AM – 3Oms, 108 times “Om Sri Sai Ram”, Swami Darshan video

   10:30AM – 12:00PM – Intro of Guest Speaker (Dr. Dhurjati Mudigonda), Guest Speaker Talk and Vote of Thanks

   12:00PM – 12:30PM – Unison Bhajans, Aradhana Offering Song, Swami Bhajan and Closing Prayers

   12:30PM – 2:00PM – Lunch and Cleanup.

   Note: Dress code for Aradhana Day

   Any shade of Green color sarees for Ladies & salwar kameez for Girls.

4. *Sadhana Hour – SSSGC USA – National Devotional Initiative for Bhagawan’s Centennial Birthday celebrations.

   Please participate by joining these sessions.  

   The Tonight session of “Sadhana Hour” is scheduled Friday, April 19th 9 PM – 10 PM EST. “Learning to chant Sri Rudram”.

   In the last session, Dr. Venkata Ramana provided guidance on pronouncing Sanskrit syllables/words and began teaching 1st Anuvaka.  He will continue with this anuvaka during the upcoming Sadhana hour..

Sri Sathya Sai Educare (SSSE) Updates   

1. SSSE Classes on Sunday April 21st @ Hovatter Elementary School from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. We shall have a full practice session and request all SSSE kids not to skip. Parents please pick up the kids at 11:30 am.

2. SSSCL – Bhagawan’s Aradhana Day Celebrations: We will celebrate Bhagawan’s Aradhana Day on Sunday April 28th @ Hovatter Elementary from 9:30 AM onwards, all SSSE kids and parents are required to attend the celebrations (Attendance for SSE kids is mandatory). There will be a wonderful musical offering by guest speaker Dr. Dhurjati Mudigonda (See Devotional session for more details).

3. SSSCL – Easwaramma Day Celebrations: Please mark your calendars and block to join with your family for all wonderful offerings by our SSSE kids to Swami on Easwaramma Day on Sunday May 5th, 2024 @ Hovatter Elementary School from 9 AM EST onwards. See EDay Video Teaser and Flyer Attached below.

4. Regional Retreat Memorial Day weekend, May 24th – May 27th: If interested please register and reach out to Sister Sai Neeraja @ sse@loudounsai.org for SSE activities.

Aradhana Mahosthavam – Month of April 2024 Seva Activities

1. *Donating needy items at Single Women Homeless Shelter**
   As part of this service activity we will purchase and donate items like Paper Bowls, Paper Plates, Spoons & Forks, Paper Towels, Laundry Detergent, and other items at Single Women Homeless Shelter.

5. *Medical Camp at Singh Sabha Gurudwara (SSG) on April 21 2024** from 1 pm – 4 pm at 12001 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA 22030.(see Flyer).  We have enough volunteers between the Gurudwara and our organising team as it is a small medical camp, however SSSE kids with family can visit the Gurudwara, have Langar, and see how a medical camp is conducted.

SSSGC's  Regional, National and Zonal Updates

Sadhana Aradhana:

Our SSSGC family in India is inviting all of us to participate in an offering to Bhagawan of “Sadhana Aradhana” (worshipful offering of our spiritual practice). It is a 30 day program starting on March 26th and culminating on April 24th, which is Bhagawan's Aradhana Mahotsavam (worshipful celebration commemorating the anniversary of His Mahasamadhi, the day He left His physical form).  The link below is for the booklet which introduces the program and presents a daily practice for each of the 30 days leading up to April 24th.  This united offering of love is a wonderful way to come together to remember, reflect upon, appreciate, and most importantly, practice His teachings.

• With Swami's Grace, the annual Guru Purnima Sri Sathya Sai Medical Camp will be held from 18th of July to the 22nd of July, 2024 in Prasanthi Nilayam, N1 building.  Health Care Professionals from around the world are invited to join together in unity with this unique opportunity to provide service on the holy grounds of Prasanthi Nilayam. Non-medical volunteers, especially young adults, are also needed and most welcome to join and serve in various capacities.  Space is limited and registration needs to be done in advance with a deadline of May 20, 2024.
