Hope all of you had a divine and wonderful Happy week with Swami’s Grace!

With abundant grace of Swami, last Sunday we had practices of Shivopasana and Swami Birthday Cake cutting song at devotional session followed by open bhajans by members and regular SSSE classes. We thank all members, elders and SSSE kids for joining.

Tomorrow, Saturday November 23rd – we will celebrate our Dearest Swami's 99th Birthday at Hovatter Elementary school starting from 8:30 am with setup, please join if available for more details see below with Flyer.

Program Details: (Tentative)

8:30 AM – 9:30 AM – Altar Setup – PLEASE JOIN IF AVAILABLE

9:30 AM – 09:45 AM – Gather outside of School for the procession – All members, Elders and SSSE Kids.

09:45 AM – 10:20 AM – 3 Oms, Shivopasana and Rudram (Procession completes)

10:20 AM – 10:30 AM – Swami Darshan video & Divine Birthday Message

10:30 AM – 11:10 AM  – Musical offerings by SSSE kids, Adults/YAs

11:15 AM – 11:30 AM – Assigned Bhajans + Swami Bhajan

11:30 AM – 12:00 PM – Birthday Song (Tere Janam Din me Sai) with Cake Cutting and Closing Prayers

12:00 PM – 1:30 PM – Prasadam and Clean up

Dress code is as follows:

Ladies/: Any color saree

Girls: Any color Indian traditional wear with dupatta.

Men/Boys: White kurta pajama/ White shirt and pant

1. SSSGC – Sri Sathya Sai Center of Loudoun – Center Officers Selections for Year 2025-2026.

   SaiRam all, Thank You All for providing your nomination of your choice of  SSSCL Center officers for next term 2025-2026 (2 years). Please mark the date below for the selection meeting and join in providing your Final choice based on the selection list.

   Selection Meeting is on Sunday December 1st 2024 at Center.

2. SSSCL – Winter Blanket SEVA at Center on Dec 1st 2024 at Hovatter. Please join us.

3. PARTHI PILGRIMAGE CENTENNIAL YEAR 2025 (July 10 – 13, 2025): Registration is now open. We are truly blessed by His Grace to embark on both an inner and outer journey to our spiritual source, Prasanthi Nilayam. Parthi Pilgrimage, set during the centennial year, has been confirmed by the ashram authorities for the auspicious dates of July 10-13, 2025. see flyer below.

Important Announcements:

1. Bhagawan’s 99th Birthday celebrations on Nov 23rd Saturday from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM — Much awaited event of the year, our beloved swami birthday celebrations. See above flyer and program details. All SSSE Kids, Gurus will be chanting Sai Gayatri in the procession and requested to be at center by 9 AM. Dress code is given above.

2. Sunday Nov 24th – No SSSE classes @ Hovatter Elem School.

3. SSSGC – Zone1 Pilgrimage in July 2025:

   Friendly reminder to consider attending the US Pilgrimage in July 2025. This is a blessed opportunity for parents, children, gurus, and families to experience. If anyone is interested, please complete the rsvp form (link above that is shared in Important announcements.)

4. SSSGC – USA: National SSSE| Centenary Birthday Preps |Book and Sadhana Offering. Happy to announce our preparations for His centenary birthday celebrations next year! The greatest gift we can give Sai is our own self transformation. In order to work on ourselves, we are rolling a couple of offerings in which all SSSE Gurus, children AND parents can participate for an entire year!

   Everyone has an opportunity to participate in:

   1) Sadhana- Devotion in Action! We have an entire list of sadhana/spiritual practices and resources for you based on the 9 Forms of Worship. Parents, children and gurus can choose from the list and practice them as a family, as a class or as an individual. The options are plenty and are flexible to suit any lifestyle/schedule. One can choose prayers and practices from their own faith traditions as well.

   2) DEAREST SWAMI – a compilation of Articles, poems and artwork are welcome from SSSE children and Gurus.

   Our endeavor begins on November 23rd 2024 and will end November 23rd 2025. We pray for inspiration, guidance and determination so that what we undertake helps not just each of us, but also our families and communities positively.

Month of November 2024 Seva Activities

1. Narayana Seva: Breakfast at Leesburg Shelter (November 30th)

   Desc: Prepare and serve breakfast at Leesburg Shelter located at:19520 Meadowview Ct, Leesburg, VA 20175 on Saturday, November 30th, 2024.

2. Winter Pack SEVA Packing (December 1st) 

   Desc: SaiRam all, we shall have winter kit seva packing at Center (Hovatter) on Sunday December 1st. Please join that will be distributed in the Washington DC area following week.

3. Old/Used Eyeglasses Donation Drive

   As part of this service activity we are collecting old/used eyeglasses(Including reading and child). These eyeglasses will be dropped off at the Eyeglass Recycling center of Northern Virginia.  Donated previously owned eyeglasses will be distributed to those in need around the world. Please bring it to the Center on Sunday.

   If you have not yet registered and are interested in attending the Region 2 Fall YA retreat, they have four additional slots available.

    November 29th – December 1st, 2024 (Thanksgiving Weekend) at the Vraj Temple in Schuylkill Haven, PA. 

   The Retreat will be centered around the theme, “The Attitude of Gratitude.”

2. CENTENARY MUSICAL SYMPHONY: YA’s

   Sairam, Dearest Young Adults,

   We are thrilled to announce the Global Musical Symphony in honor of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba's Centenary Celebrations, themed Karishye Vachanam Tava. This special tribute, featuring singers and instrumentalists from around the world, will be a centrepiece of His Centenary Celebrations at Prasanthi Nilayam.

   We invite all talented performers from SSSGC centers to participate! The registration deadline for SSSGC Zone 1 members has now been extended until November 23, 2024.

   Participants can register their interest as a musician or vocalist (eligible ages: 18–45 in November 2025). Once registered, the Audition Team will reach out with further instructions.

   Feel free to share this opportunity with all interested YAs and members. This is a unique chance to contribute to His divine celebration!

In celebration of Swami's 99th birthday, SSSGC-Flushing, New York, presents a wonderful opportunity to watch a special video of Swami's 30 seconds video play 2 times per hour* on the following dates: at Times Square New York.
