Maha Shivarathri\u00a0celebrations <\/span><\/strong>will be held <\/span>on\u00a0Saturday 2\/18\/2023 from 5:30 PM to Midnight.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

As all of you are aware, Shivarathri holds special significance to all Swami's devotees and Swami has attached an enormous significance to this festival for all spiritual seekers. We will be celebrating this festival on Saturday 2\/18\/23<\/b>, the day of the festival, at Sister Madhavi Damaraju's <\/b>residence –\u00a0<\/span>42931\u00a0Teal briar Place, Broadlands, VA 20148 from 5:30pm until midnight.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Consequently, Sunday (2\/19\/23) we will not be meeting at the Claude Moore Center.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sri Sathya Sai Educare (SSSE) Updates<\/span><\/u><\/span><\/h3>\n

NO SSSE Classes on Sunday,Feb 19th, 2023.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Important SSSE Reminders:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1. Easwaramma Day Celebrations – SAVE THE DATE for May 6th 2023 (Saturday).<\/strong>\u00a0Kids have begun the signup, practice activities for various cultural demonstrations of what they have been learning on Swami's Educare values.\u00a0
\nPlease make sure to participate in the practice sessions, assist wherever you can and encourage your kids as much as possible.<\/p>\n

2. SSSE Seva Day and Photo Shoot Day – SAVE THE DATE for March 12th, 2023 (Sunday)<\/strong>. Kids are required to mandatorily participate in the Seva activity as they cherish the joy of participating in making food for those in need. This is at the regular center timings on Sunday, so there should be no calendar conflict for anyone. We also request the parents to participate and join the seva activity. We have Photo Shoot for the yearbook on the same day. Kids are required to come in appropriate dress code (white and white) as instructed by their gurus. This will really help the Yearbook team a lot.\u00a0<\/p>\n

3. First Sunday\u00a0of every month (SSSE Bhajans)\u00a0<\/strong>– Please mark your calendars that first Sunday of every month is 'mostly' dedicated for SSSE bhajans unless there is a special event or calendar conflict with other center activities. Please encourage kids to participate in Bhajan workshop, sign up for bhajans and practice regularly.\u00a0<\/p>\n

4. Yearbook Inputs\u00a0<\/strong>– As an annual tradition, we publish the yearbook that is compiled by the yearbook team throughout the year. We are seeking SSSE kids inputs to the yearbook. If they have great articles on SSSE core values, poems, their understanding of Swami's quotes, or stories\/messages that they want to convey, please encourage them to write them, and submit it to our yearbook team. Please remember to include the kid's full name, SSSE group number, and a title for their submission. All submissions can be sent to\u00a0<\/span>sse@loudounsai.org<\/a><\/span><\/a>\u00a0or submitted to their gurus. For very young kids such as story group and group 1, if they have a piece of artwork, you can send a picture or submit the hardcopy at our center to the gurus.\u00a0
\nAll submissions are due by March 20th !<\/p>\n
