A Warm and Loving Sai Ram Dear Members,

Hope all of you had a divine and wonderful week! 

Last Sunday September 17th, at Claude Moore Center, we had a wonderful SSSE Parent orientation and heard about what is SSSE(Bal Vikas) and why Bhagawan has started this Spiritual program and letting us know that it is all about “God exists” and “Man is Divine”. Our Gurus have provided what is expected all year from Parents, SSSE Kids and requested us(Parents) to be part of this integral, mutual commitment and be the support in the 3 legged stool. Let us all “Not Pop the Balloon” but support the gurus and kids in this aspect. Praying our Dear Swami to bless us all.

This Saturday September 23rd, we shall be observing Special festival bhajans hosting – Ganesh Chaturthi bhajans @ Sister Sai Vajra Neeraja’s and Brother Vijay’s residence, for more details see in devotional session.

Reminder to all SSSE parents that we will have SSSE Classes this Sunday @ Claude Moore.  Kids come in at 9:25 am and pick up by 11am.

1. In-person SSSGC Region 10 Musical Retreat with Sri Sathya Sai Alumni ” SAI MAHIMA GAO” at Houston, Texas – SAVE THE DATE 09/23/23 

We are very happy to announce that SSSGC Region 10 will be having  Musical retreat on September, 23, 2023-Saturday at Houston, TX. This invitation is open to all the regions.

SSSGC-Zone1 Updates:

Greetings from the SaiLights team!

It is fall, and time again for us to work TOGETHER on SaiLights'  2023 Birthday Issue!  As always, we are excited to join hands with you to prepare this joint Zone 1 offering for Swami. We humbly request the following:

1. Submit two to three “Boxes”, each highlighting any Center program, activity, or event of the 2023 calendar year that you believe was noteworthy and which you would like to share with fellow Sai devotees.

   • The boxes could cover any service, devotional, Sri Sathya Sai Educare (SSSE), or Young Adult activities that stood out for some reason.  For example, was there an outstanding Study Circle led by Group 4 boys?  Or a new Center-wide tree-planting Sadhana?

   • Please limit each “box” to about 300 words.

   • If possible, please include a few high-resolution photographs to accompany each box.

   • Submissions are due on or before October 17, 2023.

2. Dear Center Members:  Please see the following request from Zone 1's SaiLights Magazine team. They are looking for your contributions regarding the following Sai Bhajan:

   • “SaiHamara, Hum Sai Ke”: One of the best loved Sai Bhajans, is it not?  Who does not love to sing this devotee favorite in a full-throated voice? Question is: What does this bhajan mean to you?  What thoughts or emotions or experiences do these words evoke in you? 

   • SaiLights would love to share your thoughts with devotees across the zone. 

   • Response should be approximately 300 words.

4. Sri Sathya Sai Leadership Course is being offered by the Sri Sathya Sai Educational Programs (SSSEP) committee. Registration for this course is open until September 23rd. This course is open to all adults age 18 and over. Duration is 10 weeks long starting from October 14, 2023 until March 30, 2024, every 2nd and 4th Saturdays at 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM EST. 5. Medical Camp at Prasanthi Nilayam – November 18 – 25 2023: Registration is open for both medical and non-medical professions. Please fill out one of the following registration forms if you would like to volunteer:
